Helen Y. Kim-James, MD, is a board-certified physician in Dermatology. Her patients often mistake her for someone 20 years young (really, her skin is that good!)
She completed her undergraduate education with summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, and her medical education from Washington University School of Medicine, currently ranked as #6 in US News and World Report lists of best medical schools.
From a young age, she knew she wanted to help people lead healthy lives. In medical school, she fell in love with healthy skin and started the St. Louis based dermatology practice, Chesterfield Valley Dermatology.
She often serves as guest speaker and local expert on issues related to medical and cosmetic dermatology.
She is an avid cook, and loves spending time chatting and cooking with her family. Sunday dinner has become a time of joy at the household, with cousins, aunts, uncles, brothers, & sisters all showing up for a great meal. She used her cooking talents to help her oldest son, who has severe food allergies, navigate the often tough waters of growing up in a world of unhealthy and dangerous foods. It was this concern and passion that inspired her role in the development of tummydrops.
